I have a 06 MT, with RAS Sports Suspension and Factory 19s. The inside of my tires are done, so I am going to get new wheels and Tires instead of just tires. I already ordered the spc camber kit to adress the inside wear. I am looking at Stance SC-5 Machine Black.
I was thinking of going 20x9F and 20x10.5 Rear or should I go 19's. The reason I am thinking 20's is this. I have factory 19's now and they are not flushed. I want the flush look. I do not race, so not concerned about weight.
These are the available sizes.
19x8.5 +35
19x9.5 +35
20x8.5 +35
20x9 +20, +32
20x10 +35

Being flush with the fenders doesnt have to do with the size of the rim. All about the offsets...

 

I am thinking about these rims too but 10.5 all the way around with the lowest offset. Some people get 19's so that they can drop it lower. You can make your 19's flush with the right mm spacers...
I have 20" now with G stechs and I am very happy. Ask the vendor, I'm sure they know which offsets are best for an aggressive fitment.

 

Right now my car is not dropped. I am waiting to get the wheels first then see about a drop. The most I will drop is probably .75. I like the nice clean stance. I thought about doing same all around, just so I can rotate my tires.

 

Lol I dont think its possible to drop it .75 and plus it wont be worth it. Wont even notice a drop like that. Just get 350z s techs and call it good. What manolobleu said, Just get rims with the lowest offsets. If not you can always get spacers to make them flush

 

I hear u. Thats the way to go. I have staggered lips but IMO the concave looks better/ more aggressive at 10.5 all around. The RC10's look good too.

I like the look of 20's better, its subtle but nice...
also,
you should call wherever you usually buy tires... in my experience, 20" tires are CHEAPER than 19" (cuz less people have 19's, supply/demand...).

so for long term $ impact, may consider 20's, since having a drop WILL wear out your tires faster (even with a camber kit).

Chris good observation. To replace my factory 19's is over $800 for the set. 20's come out a bit cheaper.

 

19s, the design of those wheels with the spoke going all the way out to the end look huge. 20s will look like 22s.

 

I have this weird thing with 19s, and I was about to say get 19's. But the Stance SC5 are so damn beautiful, they have to be 20's!

 

If I were you, I would research more about the purchase and understand what you are looking for before you buy anything. You should have a solid grasp of the effects of offsets, diameter, and other dimensions or else someone is going to spot you with your handful of cash waiting to be spent and take you for a ride.

I speak like this because the same thing happened to me several years ago. I was so excited about getting some aftermarket wheels and tires for my car (nonG) that I rushed out and bought whatever someone sold me. Of course, the wheels fit like crap and didn't even sit inside of the wheel well and I was stuck with no returns or exchanges.

As others have said- 19s vs 20s really comes down to preference and diameter has all of nothing to do with how flush your set up will be.

 

Can someone explain this to me about why the camber kit won't solve this problem?

I have Tein coils and I'm ridding on 20's and sometimes stock 19 rays. And I do notice the inside wear more since I dropped. The wider the tire the worse.

Why won't the camber kit eliminate the problem? Is there a way to eliminate the problem? I am not slammed.
