Wheel spacers and wide tires on oem wheels

I have a 2004 G35 coupe and have oem wheels. I want to put spacers on the front and rear wheels so they look more flushed along the fender lines. What would be the most appropriate size and where to get them. Can spacers be used without having VDC/slip or tire pressure warning sensor light issues. Further, what is the widest tires I can put on the rear oem wheels without rubbing or suspension issues. Any response and personal experiences will be appreciated. Thanks

I had 15's in the front and 20's in the back...it was good...but I would go 20's in the front and 25's in the rears...that would be perfect...you can find them here in classifieds section...some venders are also selling them. As for tires I think someone recently posted that they were running 275's in the back

since the OP has an 04, he most likely has OEM 18's so a 275 rear tire is way too much.

on an 18x8 rear wheel i would run a 245 or a 255 max, no need for anything lager

I have an 03 with 19" rays from a newer car. I want to say I had 245s or 255s on the rear and unsure on the front. I ran 30mm spacers all around and I am lowered. No issues what so ever.

I now run 245/35 and 285/35 on stock rays. The spacer in the rear cause it too rub too the point where its undrivable, I might be able to correct it with a fender roll, but IDK as Im Over 4500 miles away and havent seen the car in months. (owned for all most a year drove it for 18 days)

Ill let you know what I find out when I find out.

rolling your fenders will get rid of the rubbing

I'd recommend just measuring how far out you'd like the wheels to stick and getting the appropriate spacer.

I know all about this cuz I ran into some issues when installing my lowering springs. I have the stock 18s as well.

I had 1 inch spacers all the way around on a 1.5" drop all the way around. It was nice, loved the more flush look and I didnt have to roll my fenders in the rear, i didnt have to in the front, but i did anyways lol. But I wanted to go lower, and bought 2 inch lowering springs for the front for a more "aggressive" look. Needless to say, I had to remove the spacers in the front cuz the wheel wouldnt fit.

So it depends on how low you want to go. You could go 2" drop with 15mil spacers in the front, and 1.5" drop with 25mil spacers in the rear. Your car will be looking sexy.

As far as mechanical issues, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Im running 25mm spacers on the front and 31mm on the rear. With stock 18s I had to shave my rear fenders so that it wouldnt scrape. If you dont want to roll or shave your fenders go with 20mm in the front and 25mm in the rear.

I am have 35 mm front and back on my stock 19 with rolled finders. I don't think I rolled my fenders for my 19's though. I rolled them for my 20's
