Post a pic? Just by judging off what you said, Autos are hard to sell modified like that. Might have to part out.

Looks good to me...normally people who buy modded cars want manual trans, I'd think you'd probably be better off parting out and selling the car stock. I'm not from Cali so I'm not sure how market prices are there, but I'd guess you'd get around 12k

i must be out of the loop. I have a disconnect from money. Those mods don't look to impressive. I have much more and similar specs to your car

I never said his mods were a show stopper. I based MY estimation of the value of his car based on the parts he has on the car. And I said his car looks good, because in my opinion, it does. It's not crap mods, it's mods that another buyer could potentially be interested in.

"I have much more and similar specs to your car"

So you have a 04 coupe AT with similar miles more mods than he does, and you're disappointed that we think his car would only get 12k? Not sure what you're saying there.

I really think you can get more. I live in Cali also in the bay area and paid 15k for my 04 coupe when it had 85k miles. G's here are still pricey an I think you can do about 14 grand for yours

edmunds.com based on a torrance zip code rates the car at $7800 trade in or $10,400 retail.

i assumed the car is in good condition and just maxed out most of the options. You can play around with it for a bit.

http://www.edmunds.com/appraisal/

Generally autos are worth less than manuals in the used car market when it comes to g35's. A search on autotrader would support that.

Mods do not add value to used cars, i would go with that others are saying and part out the car and sell it stock.

Come on man, those mods must have cost at least 5k. Not to mention the tires for the rims

Mods do not add value to a car 90% of the time. (i.e. turbo/supercharger changes things)

Just because it's what YOU wanted to do to the car, doesn't mean the rest of us would do the same.
If you think I'm wrong, humor yourself and take your modified car to a dealer and get a trade in value. Chances are you'd never post it in here because you'd be too pissed off to repeat it.

I know this because last week I went looking and my stock 05 auto with every factory option was slapped with a $12k trade value with only 62k miles. Sadly, it's accurate.

True story, tried to sell my 2007 6mt coupe a few months ago to trade up, max factory options also and they wanted to give me 14k for it with 60k miles on it. I nearly cried haha

I'm going to be selling my 03 auto too. Kelly Blue book with my options say $13,800 for private sale. Trade in was much less. I hope to get close to that for it but I will take off my rims and sell those separately. You will almost never get more for you modifications.
