Metals retain heat more. Not sure about CF. I like stealth, so I went w plastic.

I heard the Nismo Z tube is aluminum. It gives better air flow. Is it true? Or is it because the person wants to sell me their aluminum z tube

I have a regular z-tube and wraped in it exhaust tape to keep the engine heat out. So i didn't/don't care what mine looks like! I believe other members have done this also. I actually gives your engine bay a race car look.

heh, play on words (yeah, lame..I'll admit ).... winner/weiner. The winning statement being "because the person wants to sell me their aluminum z tube".

what if i get the CF z tube which is supposed to keep less heat, and then sand down the inside to be smooth for better flow? ive seen the inside of the cf ztube and its all bumpy inside. might be bad for flow.
