The part I'm speaking of is the lock part, not the plastic cover.. What DJ714 picture shows.

I still have the screw holding on by the clamps so it doesn't fall into the door, But i can't seem to line them up ( the screw and the hole in the lock, to make it secure/Tight ) . I worry a thief will just rip it out and leave more damage...

bro just got a g35 and it has the same problem. The keyhole is exposed and loose. I can pull it out a little and it wiggles. You ever fix it?
