I have found this on the web. It looks different with the remote we are using. Do you think it works for our G35 Coupe?

That looks like the key for the 2002-2003 Infiniti Q45.

 

Yeah, I know. However, it says it's for the G35. I'm wondering may be they put up a wrong picture.

It looks like an error, I don't think it will work it's a totally different ignition system, ours uses the traditional key, whereas the Q45 keys uses infrared technology.

 

I just got my Coupe on Friday, and my fobs do not look at all like that one. It is probably a wrong picture.

It doesn't mean that one can't be trained for use in the G, though. Same buttons, just a different layout and shape.

In this picture of the Skyline (G35 in Japan), they use the all-in-one keyfob, I wish we got this key, I think this one could work with the G35 but I'm not sure.

I saw that key in Japan's Nissan site too. I really wish we can get one of those keys and ask the dealer to reprogram the chip so we can use in here.

The current key looks very ugly. Doesn't like a 40k car's key at all.

especially since our key fobs are the same as the altima, if it was not for the infiniti logo on my key i would get it mixed up with my sisters altima key!

 

Yea, I agree with "cake" and "Antrock" the key looks cheap and similar to the Nissan keys, even the 2003 Honda Accords get the all-in-one keyfob similar to the ones of the Lexus. I had a BMW 328i and a CLK430 that had the all-in-one key design, which is nice. But it sucks when you loose it because they are very expensive, lost one of my CLK430 key and cost me $360 to get a replacement key![img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]

 

I traded in my BMW and got this car. I still can't get use to the cheap key fob!!!

Please don't tell me the 2004 model will have a nice key fob. I am sure I will #$(&#)%^# my G35C.

mercedes and audi/vw have the best keyfobs

they swing open like a switchblade

Yea, I think, hands down the best is the Audis I love that switch blade key thing!

Its amazing to me how on my stepmothers old 92-93 Mercedez SEL 400 she has a super cool switch blade FOB. And us in 2003 have [censored]. But of course that SEL400 back then was prety pricey.
