Hey Gary, thanks for the reply, what did you mean by "Don't forget the loss in value for your coupe too, s/b no less than a grand"

The guy who hit me's adjuster came out and said new front bumper, grille, headlights. Cost of parts and labor is $3010. I am sure once I take it to a body shop that price will change, now my question am I allowed to choose which parts I want? Am I able to suggest 2006 OEM headlights? I have never been in an accident so I dont know where to go from here. My friend was telling me tonight i couldn't tell buy the parts, the body shop will want to buy them (mark them up) then use them in the install. Is there a way I walk out with a nicer front end and money? It sucks because my car has not moved in 2 weeks, now I am weary on what bodyshop to pick.

And to make matters worse, I spent a lot of money on my audio/visual. And the inpact must have knocked something lose because my touchscreen doesnt have power. The adjuster was trying to tell me the impact wasnt tnough to kill a navigation screen, but it was working in the morning of the accident. He said if the the body shop can prove it had something to do with the accident it will be covered, my question is how does tht happen. Does the body shop have to rip apart my dash (double din kit) and check the wiring, what if a random wire is just knocked lose yet it took them 3-4 hours to take apart my dash to get to it? Sigh...

The cost for the 06+ headlights are around $500 for both...I heard somewhere that they're discontinued so the prices might have changed but if not then they're what I stated before

Just checked OC Infiniti on ebay. Phil from Grubbs posted that they are one of the dealers that still have some. They are $849.95!!! I bought mine about 3 years ago from Riverside Infiniti and they were in the $500 range. They did not however include the ballasts which you had to remove from your old lights and install on the 06's. I'm just guessing but for $849 I think they would include the ballasts.

Did you check the bulbs or harnesses for the ballasts?

you'd be incorrect, it's the same projector lights, just not made anymore, very few dealers have any.... I sold my last 2 last month, still not comming with ballasts,
however, if you bought full headlights with ballasts your looking at $1370 G35driver prices

Sorry about your ride man. I would be worried if I got hit that the insurance company would total the car instead of letting me fix it.

I hate seeing threads where people get into wrecks. Glad you're doing alright though. Are there any pictures of the damage?

Seeing this post saddens me as is re-affirms that my g35 will be totaled by insurance. I have much more damage than you and both air bags deployed. Check it out and pics if you want to feel better about your situation
