samco hose install

I am about to purchase a samco coolant hose kit for my G, just wanted to know if anyone has done a cooling system drain, or has done the install?? I am pretty good around cars mechanically, but am worried I might do something to cause my car to overheat, voiding my warranty....getting no heat/cold from my AC/heater. anyone have a DIY or know where i can find one??

There are several of us that have done the SAMCO hoses. Pretty straight forward. You may need to purge the air from the heater core after refilling.

Since normal hose clamps can cut into the silicon hoses, it's a good idea to replace them with something that is better. Many have used the Pi-Thon hose clamps. I, and a few others used the Spanish-made Mikalor clamps that are used in racing applications.
