Mounting Front License Plate
there are plenty of adaptors. Stillen has one i think. They run for about 60ish. I want one too. Does anyone know if the plate sticks out like it shows on the pictures or is it flat against the front like its supposed to look like?
Or better yet, can someone just post a pic of their plate w/ one of these adaptors? thanks.

I have the StrictlyZ license plate adapter.
You do have to specify the year when you order it.
I would take a pic, but it is too cold and dark now...but it really looks like the images on strictlyz's site.
It seems like it could loosen up, but it hasn't so far...been 4 months now.
It is also a little tough to tighten, but it works and I like the look and no holes in the bumper.
Let me know if you need more info or actual pics.
I also picked up a chrome license plate frame from eBay too -- it's okay.
Please don't use paper/document clamps.
I'm interested how people like the Stillen adapter...

i use the clamps also and they work very well and are easy to get off. just make sure you put some form of padding behind the clips so they dont scratch the paint. i dont like how the aftermarket adapters push the plate outward, imo it looks strange. the stock holder actually matches the contour of the bumper.

why not use paper clips?? it works and looks better than that rip off "adapter."
60-70 dollars for a license plate holder? HAHAHA
buy the medium size binder clip.. shorter screws and a 5/8" thread 5" long bolt
use the binder clip to hold the license plate holder, then screw on the bolt on the tow hole.. then put your plate on.. then you're done! a quick 5 minute job that cost less than 2 bucks
go here for further details ( I USED THE BOLT FOR insurance so the clip won't slip down at all) oh and i also painted the clip so it won't rust
