g35 coupe questions

hello, ive had my 04 g3 coupe black for about a year now. i tinted the windows, blacked out the tail lights, cold air intake, and rear lip spoiler. my headlights have some scratches on them so i was thinking about replacing them. i dont know how hard it would be to do so myself. and i do not know what kind of aftermarket headlights to get. i dont wanna look like a tool. any advice would be great, and/or other mods i could do on the cheap. thanks guys

Everyone on here will tell you not to get aftermarket headlights...and you should probably listen haha I (and pretty much everyone else) will suggest getting stock 06+ projector lights they look a lot cleaner but they're also kinda pricey unless you can find a good deal on them. Theyre plug and play and are really easy to install yourself. im sure there are YouTube tutorials but you probably don't even need them honestly. It's like 3 bolts and unplugging the harness. Performance wise plenum spacers are a good upgrade also exhaust and lower it

Yes they fit. Lowering depends I just lowered mine on a set of used eibach sportlines for $120 and its easy to do yourself and again I know there's a YouTube tutorial because I just used it to do mine haha. As for the spacer you'd probably want a motordyne 5/16" they're about $180 and you can install them yourself if you're comfortable doing so I personally would have it done professionally though

I installed a touchscreen head unit in mine along with an amp and 2 10s in the trunk. It wasn't too difficult but it isn't a simple install. The kit costs about $150 last I checked then the head unit costs 300-400 plus amp/subs and wiring kit. There may be other ways to do it but I had to bypass my factory amp and I disconnected the 6x9s in the rear deck. If you add subs you don't need them. Plus if you bypass the stock amp your head unit is powering the speakers and it can't handle 8 speakers very well (but it'll handle 6) all together you're probably looking at around $1000 for a decent system

Just SEARCH around on the forum for all your questions. These questions have been answered before... But yes get the 06+ lights if you can get a good price. If you want to lower on springs get tein s techs but also get wheel spacers so your wheels dont look sunken in. Looks horrible like that.

I had a paint shop polish mine and put a clear coat on them and they look like brand new after being kind of yellowed.
