My remote will lock and unlock my locks but will not open the truck, any idea why??

 

I've been doing some reading BC I have the same issue. I haven't looked into it but check your fuse and if that's not the problem check the tunk release harness. Some people have had wires break.

 

Have you had any work done to the trunk lately? The trunk's positioning is very sensitive. If its off even just a hair it may not close right or the latch may not have enough room to open/close like it should.

I did a test fit of my Strafe trunk and it took me nearly 2 hours to be able to have it positioned right so that the latch would catch like its supposed to. A real PITA...

 

sounds like your trunk actuator lock is out. I believe the factory part number is 84630CM40A. But you may want to double check with Phil over at Grubbs.

 

The button under the dash works to open the trunk, where is the fuse at?

 

I just called the dealer, they said it is not the fuse because the system would not work at all, so they say its a bad remote. I believe it because I just tried my panic button, and it does not work either. I also replaced the remote battery just to make sure.

 

I have the same problem before and i found out the wires was broken. go open you trunk from inside and see is that the problem.
