Smoked Corners?

Is there anyone that knows of a place to get smoked corners instead of clear?

Re: Smoked Corners?

I've seen them for the Z at courtesyparts.com. I've put in a couple inquiries for the G at places like japanparts, but never received a response. I don't like the clear ones on black cars, it's more for silver cars.

I don't think they're as dark as your pictures though (assuming that's a photoshop).

Re: Smoked Corners?

I use to have a Black Eclipse GSX and I used dip tint to smoke out my rear corner bumper lights. It worked really well, appeared OEM. I remember that you had to boil the solution in a deep pan and dip the light assembly in for about 15 minutes. I believe you can purchase the dip tint at Import Car shops.

Re: Smoked Corners?

smoke them them your self. You can buy clears then spraypaint them with the tint. I think its called nightshades by VHT i hope this helps at all. Oh yeah more coats = darker "I think"

Re: Smoked Corners?

Yeah, I bought clear and if I decide to smoke, will do it myself. VHT works good along with the film spray smoke.

Re: Smoked Corners?

I sort like the fact that the whites contrast the black car, but that 's just my opinion. All that money and you can't see em...lol
