Motordyne Plenum 5/16 spacer issue

Well I have a 2006 g35 coupe and I just installed the basic plenum spacer which was so simple to do. It took about 30 minutes so I put everything back together and everything was fine. It pulls harder so my butt dyno tells me but here is the issue. About 20-30 miles later ses light comes on. So I reset the ecu then like 20 miles later the sescomes on again.Everything was fine before the spacer so I go and get the code pulled at autozone and I got a P0172 fuel injection system too rich bank 1. So im puzzled i also have a short ram intake that was on before the spacer. Idle is fine everything is normal except the ses code.

What method did you use to reset the ecu?

I unplugged the battery for awhile then hit the brakes a couple of times, The ses would go away then come back later on after driving awhile. I cant do the pedal dance.

Gotta get that timing down for it. If you keep modding, you'll need to pedal dance quite a few times in you car's lifetime.

Thats weird, I replaced just about every intake/exhaust component with bolt-ons when N/A and I have yet to reset the ECU via the pedal method, always just disconnected the battery. No SES light ever came on.

One mistake some members have made, check the rubber ring around your oil filler is it tucked inside the plenum?

nope, I double checked that plus all hoses I disconnected which was only 2,and the maf. But my idle is fine, unless I just take the plenum off and retorque it.

I think you might have damaged the maf, try cleaning it with maf cleaner.
