So i bring my 6mt for service to my local infiniti dealership. I get my car back and notice that my radio setting have been messed with, which kinda bothers me cause these dudes are messing with my **** while they are working on it. And on top of that when i got my car back, Disc 3 of my stereo cd player doesn't read the cds!!!! WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THAT!??!

oh, anybody with the navi system from infiniti ever get that screen saying that and oil change is due? i got a oil change and the screen never went away. anyone know how to get rid of it?

 

Hit the "Info" button, "Maintanance", then reset the Oil/Oil Filter icons... It's a simple reset, that's all.

 

Did you just take it in for an oil change? I know they disconnect the battery when performing service. They also try to reset your radio back to the preset stations. I know this because I found a listing of my pre-set radio stations the tech accidentally left in the car after service.

 

Probably disconnected the battery, which loses your presets and didn't get reprogrammed properly.

Go into Info>Maintenance to reset the schedule (or turn it off).

 

oh its not my radio presets, the cd player can't read the 3rd CD. its not that the cd is scratched up or anything. no matter what cd i place in the disc 3 spot, it doesn't read.
