When you got your G brand new, how many miles were on the ODOMETER?

mine has like 15-20 or so, but there was an infiniti card saying it was used for QA and had the miles written.
I had 55 miles on my 2004 model I picked up on saturday. I had to have the car shipped in from cleveland to louisville, as I wanted Diamond Graphite with a 6-speed tranny. According to my dealer, i picked up the last Graphite 04 6-speed in the country.
I thougth about getting an 05, but i wanted the brembo brakes and enjoyed getting to pay MSRP without paying for the premium & aero package.

Am I missing something here?

The post above says 2004 and Athens Blue.
The post above says 2004 and Athens Blue.Makes me feel rather silly. Oh well, when I went on the website for infiniti trying to find the name of the color on my car it just looked like Athens Blue was the closest match, guess I was wrong!
2004 MIDNIGHT BLUE
Since we are now on the topic of color, was midnight blue also available on 03 model cars?

About 30. The other same color coupe from the dealer storage lot had about 30 also. Put my mind more at ease, I think in my case it was more a certain color car was required to be driven a certain distance. Other option makes me shudder....

When I ordered a new C5 vette several years ago it came off the truck with 10miles on it and no customer test drives at the dealer.
How about you?

ScapGF, Infinti calls your color TWILIGHT Blue (though Midnight Blue seems more accurate to me since it is so dark). It was available on the '04s only. I almost got one myself, but decided to get a Caribbean Blue 6MT instead. 37 miles when I got it.

How far before the release of the 05's did you nab your beautiful ride?

As an aside, the silly mistake in color that I made in this thread is ironically similialr to one of the mistakes I made on a corvette forum when I first got my C5 a few years ago. I had thought, for some reason, that you could get the 97-99 wheels in chrome from the factory. I had a 2000 FRC, so I thought it was either polished aluminum or chrome. I was quickly scolded as soon as I professed how owners would be silly not to opt for the 'chrome' version of the wheels on their pre-2000's.
I guess old lessons die hard, lol

Thanks for the final correction 'Gspotter'

Mine had 185
. The dealer claimed at the time that it was the only Athens Blue with the Sport tuned Suspension available in the North East (Got it Thanksgiving). It was driven from Pennsylvania to Long Island, and was the only bitter taste in my mouth when I got the car.
I don't regret getting the car but never again will I get a new car with more than 10 miles. Just the thought that another guy's ***** touched the driver's seat before mine, now truly bothers me.
