What engines are interchangable with my car? I have a 2004 g35 coupe 5AT iknow the 350z is very similiar but does it have to be off the exact same year? As well is the motor from lets say a 2004 altima 3.5 the same as well? i searched the forum could not find anything which led me to make a thread, any info as far as which ones are and which ones are not would help, as well if any modifications have to be made etc etc thanks in advance.

 

Any DE engine will work just make sure to remove the pilot bushing if it comes from a 6mt.Dont use the Altima engine.

Just because the altima engine is the same doesnt mean it really is. Just stick with the DE engine from a G or a Z. Btw this topic has been talked about before...

 

Less horsepower is the difference, and uhh it's FWD. If that matters...
