Luckily i went to autozone and they did a computer check and it came back at loose vaccum or something so it reminded me i never re-attached the hose to the ztube that i took off the gtube. I attached it back on and everything should be good. Now the service light is still on. What do i do?

 

You can drive for a while and the computer should relearn and tell that you fixed the hose or disconnect the battery for a few minutes to manually reset computer. If that's the only issue.

 

rarely if never does the z tube cause a check engine light

 

Just take it back to the auto parts store and have the code cleared.

 

i forgot to reconnect the emission hose.

 

That's about all it could be installing a Z-Tube, glad you beat me to it....
