the stock philips bulbs will output the most light. Anything else you'll look a little bit of light as you go higher past 4300k. 5000k is more of a white light. 5500k is more like white with a slight blueish tint. 6k is more of a blueish white.

If your looking more for that bluish flicker you see from bmw's driving on a bumpy road, you need to swap out the projector lens to clear lens.
