04 G35 sport coupe

Just got it today from Delaware (Im in Chicagoland), 70k miles, 6 sp. Brake, VDC off, slide idiot lights are on and airbag light is blinking... I'm thinking it's going to cost me a small fortune to fix. Most concerned about VDC which is traction/stability control.

Where do I start?

Otherwise, once battery was charged, car is very loud (after market exhaust), fast, sound system is killer. nice clutch/tranny, tight steering good suspension.. Awsome car!

Probably have to spring for winter tires/rims...

Stephen

Contracts on the new car, if you do a search there a process you do to turn the air bag light off.

FMR, try disconnecting the negative side of your battery for an hour. This is the easy way to reset your ECU, but no longer than a hour! Is this issue the result of winter driving on summer tires where you're sliding all over the road?

not sure about the airbad light, but I just had the other issue fixed on my car under warranty from the dealer. I had the VDC off, slip, and brake lights on intermittantly. needed a wheel sensor, and when I was getting the VDC/slip lights I also got a check engine light for a faulty TPS sensor and they ended up replacing the entire throttle body assy. might not be the specific cause of your problems, but at least its an avenue to search. hook a scan tool up to your car and check for any codes or pending codes that might be in the system.

One my best friends (mcycle road racing pit partner) suggested I top off the brake fluid... Voila - VDC working, Slip and brake lights off. Only items left are low tire pressure and blinking airbag light.

Got the plate on the back after being stopped @ 1:30 am yesterday in a sketchy Chicago west side hood. Now the car is stuck in the snowy driveway - should be able to get it out with the subaru...lol
