Has anyone used a Nissan dealer for service?

I'm wondering if anyone has used a Nissan dealer for service and what their experiences were. For my situation, there is a Nissan dealer that is a 5 minute walk from where I work and it is very convenient to drop my car off there. The nearest Infiniti dealer is a 20-30 minute drive away. Also, I used to go to the Nissan dealer all the time when I had a 240SX. Any thoughts on if I should just try the Nissan dealer?
Thanks in advance.

I've used Nissan once. Great tech. good service, but as with anything its all depends on who "picks up the phone" the employee of the month or a moron.

I ahve tried to go to nissan dealers and they say take it to infiniti even though I live realy close to nissan. It also depends on the dealer if they are *******s or not.

I would never take my car to the Nissan dealer nearest me (Southern States) We just bought a Pathfinder and they suck. Because of this the only dealer I will take my Nissan to is about the same distance as my Infiniti dealer. Plus Infiniti gives you a loaner so you may as well use it.

Yes, I did and I was happy with the service. They changed my brake pad, turned my rotors and changed my dif and tranny fluids. Performance Nissan in Duarte, CA.

Nissan dealers can do your service... but they cannot warranty the work.

I'm in the same boat since there's a Nissan dealer 5min from me, and the nearest Infiniti dealer is 1hr. The Nissan tech, as well as service manager said they'd be happy to do the work, but it would not be covered by warranty.

Just FYI.

Tried for warranty work but Inf wouldn't let them touch it. They installed my pulleys though.

So, I called the Nissan Dealer and they told me they would do maintenance and minor repairs (brakes, etc.), but wouldn't do major repairs.
So my next question (for you all) would be, do you think it's better to just go do all my service at the Infiniti dealer? I think I would rather develop a relationship with the Infiniti dealer instead of only going there just for the major repairs. What do you think?

I use a Nissan dealer. They are close and I like the personnel and service. The only problem is that they aren't allowed to do warranty work on my Infiniti.

I've used a Nissan dealership to perform service because Infiniti was completely booked and couldn't fit me in and I have to say, it was a lot cheaper.

why dont you just use the nissan dealership for maintenance (ie oil changes, etc) and if you need any warranty related issues take it to infiniti and take advantage of the loaner.

Nissan dealers tend to be a little more forgiving with mods than an Infiniti dealership would be.
