Do the other functions on the remote work?

You might just need a new remote! They are pretty inexpensive and easy to program. If you have the Intelligent Key then it might cost a little more.

I'm pretty sure it is your door lock actuator. I had to press mine like 5-7 times before it would properly lock/unlock before I got my actuators fixed.

It's too lat enough but mine issue was also the same and locksmith replaced the actuator and problem has been resolved.

Yep. Actuator. Ebay's got a cheap reliable fix for that.

The most common reason a transponder key fob dies is simply because the battery needs to be replaced. The good news is that you do not have to take your keys to the dealer to have this taken care of. Your local auto locksmith, usually has the experience not only replace transponder key batteries but also handle other things like making replacement keys after you have lost car keys.
