Tire question Stock Size or Go same all the way

I'm looking for a good tire to put on my G35. I know everyone has there opinions, but just trying to find a general idea.. Of course no tires super tall is what I'm looking for especially since I'm not lowered that much and I don't wanna be driving around like a giraffe. And do you prefer running the stock different sizes?
