Question [Question] Trading in 350z for a G35 coupe?

Hey guys I have a 2003 350z Enthusiast which i have been kind of unhappy with for a while now (feathering, rattles, sound system, etc) and it has 20000 miles on it; does anyone know what would be a fair price to pay for a 2005 or 2004 g35 6mt with the trade in? i have been looking at the optoins for the g35 and theres nothing that i absolutely need, altough i wouldnt mind the premium package or aero package (i would definitely NOT want the dvd though, dont need it); im not sure if it would help but i am in the los angeles area, where i see a lot of g's and z's daily; is there still dealer markup going on?

on a side note, what are the main differences in extra between the 6mt and the regualr coupe? thanks a lot for you help guys

The difference in the 04 6mt and the regular are the brembos.
The 05 has 298hp and 260ft-lbs

I did an edmunds report they quouted 22,000-23,000 for your car and a 05 6mt with features your looking for will be about 37,000.

If you can still find a new 04, about 35,000.

Good luck on your search

You should be able to get a '05 for around $35k-$36k, but you can't get regular in the 6mt though....i believe they already come with the premium package.

Got mine for $36,500

I bought my '04 G35 for $33,600 (b4 taxes, etc) back in October of 2004. Even back then all the 6MT coupes had the premium package. Also, it might be hard to find the color and color combo you want.

Wow, I did exactly what you are talking about and I had the same model same year and same problems , and I haven't been happier since I made this deal come true.

I just traded in my 04 350Z Enthusiast with 11k miles on it and the dealer gave me 22k for it. I traded for an '05 G35 6MT w/ premium, splash, and chin lip only, no DVD. The G was ~37k on the sticker and they would not move at all.

The G is so much more car for not that much more money. I've had the car since Monday and I am loving more each time I drive it.
