Broken Seat Gear Motor - Looking for Help in Tampa, FL
I’ve been an active reader of the forum and gotten great tips from the group for my 2003 G35. I’m now faced with the broken gear motor on my driver seat that many other threads hear have commented about. I’m nervous about tackling that problem myself, but have no interest in paying the dealer $1,400 to repair. Any suggestions for finding someone locally (Tampa, FL) who could undertake this repair would be appreciated.
Just go for it. I had the same problem. I bought it over at odometer gears. I might have had a little bit of a problem getting it switched, but it wasn't too much of a problem. Otherwise, buy the gear and just take the PDF over to any kind of mechanic and ask them to switch it out for an hours worth of their time,
Good Luck,
Dave
