new wheels "What do you think?

Just what do you people think? I have a hard time trying to figure out what wheels to go with. Its between the Volks GT-3 and the Maya gt-5 IM going with 19" wheels IM thinking
I feel a 8.5" frt and 10.5 back is the way to go. Tires Maybe a 245-40-19frt and 285-40-19 back. I have 40s on my new ride and em very happy with the ride. I do really like the stock wheels on the 2005s I have done many searches and it goes nowhere. And I still can not figure out how to post pic's.

I think you mean Volk GT-C and Maido GR5. You have the stock 19's with an aspect ratio of 40 (I assume) but when you go with wider tires you will want to use a 35. 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 are the most common tire sizes and closest to stock overall diameters. The sidewall height will be exactly the same as the aspect ratio is the percentage of sidewall height compared to tire width. Hopefully that make sense. I think both wheels look great and you can't go wrong with either. I would just shop around and see where you can get the best deal.

You are dead on right. Im so lost because IM trying to buy a wheel package and the thing that gets me going is the people that sell wheels and tires act like Im a low class person. I do know this is going to cost me more than $4000.00 bucks. You got your act. Thanks Dennis

In the vendor classifieds there are some 20" GT-C's for $2,366 and the 19's should be around 2k or cheaper. RevHighOnline, also a site sponsor, has very good prices as well. Hit them up for a quote on 19" wheel/tire package and you might be surprised. I do think the Maidos are more expensive if thats what you want.
