Will she clear a lift?
How is that drop practical? My stock setup BARELY clears some of the speed bumps and driveways around here.I certainly couldn't get it into my home's driveway, I will scrape if I don't back out super slow.

I'm not sure what lifts the Nissan dealer has. I never had her on a lift since the drop and body work. Had it on a flat bay alignment rack though, but that's self explanatory...
My wife got me a Harbor Freight low pro jack for Xmas, so I could always throw it in the trunk. When I worked for Lexus we did not have that many lowered cars. A few IS' and GS's, but I kept home made low pro ramps behind my box for those.
I can always remove the front bumper if I have to. That's no big deal. Have to remove it anyways for the oil cooler and intercooler install.
Worst case, I rent or buy a floor tranny jack and do it in my garage.

It is practical for me. Mostly it is the front that scrapes. I don't think I've ever touched the sides. The front barely kisses the bottom of my driveway at an angle and there's one AutoZone that I have to exit through the entrance, but other than that I have had no problems at all.
You know where you can go and where you dare not!
Most of my vehicles throughout the years have been lowered. Anything from mild to wild. I can honestly say that I haven't had any of my lowered cars or trucks on lifts for anything other than an alignment rack or a flat bed tow truck and they all had to use a cocktail of boards. I usually do everything myself.
Like I said, I am out of the country until April and I just want to see if anyone had any input or personal experiences. That would be fantastic if my local Nissan dealership had a lift for the GTR as I think that would work out perfectly. We will see what the say when they reply back.
Here is me parked by an Audi R8, V10. It looks a little lower than mine.

i'm lowered on s-teins and tokio shocks, so i'm lowered about 1" from stock and i just barely clear it. My mechanic has the same kind of lift. So if your lowered 1inch or less you should be ok.
