I took mine out and painted it matte black for $8. Just saying...

I also have a chrome emblem I swap out from time to time. Never could decide...

Fitment is 100% oem!

Do you really wan't to get rid of the emblem? if so I'd go with the 3rd one.

What kind of paint did you use and did you use primer? Im thinking about painting mine too but I don't want to permanently ruin it so im leaning towards plastidip(even though it has a rough finish)

+1 on the Plastidip, I did mine a few weeks ago, it looks great and was about the easiest thing I've ever done to a car or bike period. The texture of Plasidip changes depending on how far the nozzle is from the surface, mine came out smoother than I expected.

I've done mine twice, once with primer and flat black and one with primer and gloss black. I preferred the gloss black one.

To both you and the OP, watch out in the marketplace, people sell their oem grills for pretty cheap sometimes. That's how I ended up with the 2 or 3 I have haha

Didn't know your oem grille was messed up. Just like LxV Socal said, depends on what look are you going for.

^ +1 for the market place!

As far as my grille is concerned I had it plastidipped initially to get the look and feel of matte black. In case I didnt like it, I'd rip it off. I let it ride for a while, then started looking a lil "worn" so I decided to pull it.

I just got some fine sandpaper, ruffed it up a lil and wiped it down with prep cleaner. Shot a few coats of this and it came out great!

Choose door 3

You did notice all three come from the same place, gotta wonder why the difference in price? Embless grills look cool if that's what you want, I'd be running one if I had something other than a Twilight Blue coupe.
