I just got the ipdm on mine replaced... it got wet because I never had the cover on it. Cranked cranked and cranked but no start... and when it did start it would idle really rough. I paid $575 for mine brand new, plus labor. Yours must be used...

Its a fuse box which hosts the CAN (Controller Area Network.) Without the ipdm ur car is useless. That's why I bought it new....and put the cover on it.

yeah i drove over a deep puddle while it was raining and water got into the IPDM. None of my electrics worked for a week or my horn would randomly go off since it was grounding out, while it was drying out. Thank fully my car still worked, i just had to shift on engine sound. I wrapped the whole thing in electrical tape and put two plastic bags on top of it and zip tied it.

I haven't had a problem since.
