So i was in the middle of installing some foglights which i thought were H1 bulbs for 06 projectors. And i thought it was just a plug in play but im wondering if im missing something or i might be just using the wrong bulb. The pictures show the wiring that runs through the cover and the connection for what i thought was for the bulb. Any help would be great thanks.

 

The bulb should be H1 for the coupe. I believe it's different for the sedan. I have a coupe and purchased H1 fog light bulbs for mine that worked fine.

 

That doesn't look like the wire for the bulb. Can you take a better picture of assembly and of where the fog light bulb sits?

 

You have the wrong wire. I just put the H1 bulb in mine and it fit perfect. I guess i should say that its not a wire its just a hole that the bulb slides into and then there is a metal clip that clips over the back of it to hold the bulb in place and then you plug the ingnitor into the back of the bulb.

 

Yea something's not right here. There is a hole for the bulb and the metal clips. And this wire runs through cover. You can see the cover in the background of the 2nd pic. I have another pic I will upload later.

 

Any idea what this wire is for?
