I could really use a guide on this. It would feel odd driving my new G home when I have to sloutch my whole body into the clutch because the seat is so far back.
Anybody know how to move it manually so I can atleast be comfortable while I attempted to fix it.

How can I access the switches? The screws going into the seat are blocked from access by the center console, which I have yet to find a way to remove. My passenger seat reclines, but doesn't like to come back up.

Take front facia off the seat bottom (two screws). You should be able to see the motor that propels the seat forwards and backwards. Three screws on each side hold the drive motor to seat rails. Remove the six screws and unplug the motor and remove it. You can manually adjust the seat with a 10mm wrench. You will need to alternate sides to keep seat moving rearward evenly. I'd put the motor back in immediately after you're happy with it's new adjustment rather than leaving it out, but maybe leave the cover off until you get everything sorted out (for easier access, should you need to get at it again).

Awsome man thanks a bunch! Now I can drive it home comfortably if I end up buying it.

I'm not sure as I've never used liquid wrench. I would assume that it would be since they seem to do mostly the same stuff, but the ingredients may differ. WD-40 appears to work and doesn't seem to have harmed anything so I would just go and pick up a can.

Possible fix for power seats

My 2003 infiniti g35 6mt power seats stopped working, at the same time. I thought it was the motors but weird both of them messed up at the same time?? Nah apparently, it was a fuse. it was located in the driver side inside the the car. I noticed that the fuse powers the seats and makes the constant beeping noise when you have your keys in the ignition and the door open. So if your car doesn't make that noise and your seats don't work it's probably a fuse.
Hope this helps! And if you need a pic of the message please tell me! I'll be glad to help

The issue that was the Worst was the drivers power seat won't move back and forth, and also the oher direction which I'm not familiar with. It will move the seat up and down but nothing other than that. I was curious if this is a simple fix or could be an expensive fix And if anybody has hhad this issue and resolved it?
What year is your G?

Is there a video tutorial on how to do this? What would I need to use the 10mm wrench on to make the seat move back?

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Not that I know of. When you get the cover off and the motor out you will see the 10mm nuts you need to turn to adjust the seat.
