Standard tire size is 245/40/19 and wondering if 265/35/19 will look good or too big and baloon out? Was going to use the Continental Extreme Contact Sport. Any suggestions? 265/35 is actually 1.5% smaller but wider.

 

I say no bigger then 255

 

You could get away with a 265/35X19 on your OE 8" wheels, but for what purpose? They're more expensive than the 245s and they'll cost you a few miles per gal!

I have 285/30/19's on the back. Only reason is because I traded my 18" oem for the 19" from some guy bc his tires where bald and i had good tread on mine still. He was going out of town and couldnt find tires. I found some the next day used for $160 all four tires. 255/35/19 front and the rear with about 80% tread left. The guy i bought them from just had them in his garage taking space.

 

255/40zr/19 is what I have in the rear. I would not get any wider from oem specs.
