Issues with the G35! help!

I bought a g35 coupe an '04 and I noticed it had the "SLIP" light on and I asked the guy who was selling the G and I asked what was that light and he said that it was due to the fact that it need new tires, OK so he dropped the price and so I bought the G and I bought new tires and had them professionally installed and the light is still on... any feedback about that light? Now just last week the ABS and VDC off lights appeared. Help!

Best thing to do is have the code read and post up the results.

As soon as the person said that the light was on because it needed new tires, I would have just walked away. You can take the tires completely off the car and it's not going to throw a code/light. The bottom line is the guy lied to you and you fell for it.

You need to either have the code read or get a code reader and do it yourself. Once you know what code is being thrown, then you'll know where to start.

Correct ^
Get an OBD scanner and see what code it's throwing. Hopefully something minimal. Let us know what it is when you have that code so we may be able to assist you. Good luck!

Autozone or Advanced Auto parts, etc etc should be able to scan the code for you. It takes less than 5 minutes, and you don't have to buy anything. Hit them up on the lunch break or before/after work

OP please tell us that you took the car to a mechanic to have it checked out before you bought it. If you didn't, you should have. He could have told you in a few seconds what the light means. It concerns me that the previous owner lied to you about the light. Makes me wonder what else he's hiding about the car.

Always have used cars checked out before they're purchased.
