But then if you compare to something like a similar year or even a bit older m3, there is really no comparison. But at least we don't have the huge maintenance costs and crazy issues such as their subframe problems O_O

Yes I agree on the driving experience part of FWD vs RWD. Straight line speed is fun, but imo half (or more) of driving pleasure is also the feel of the car and the connection it has to the road, which I believe the G has the advantage over the Si there. But yeah even E36 M3's should have no problem beating us. OP, If you wanted speed, the G wasn't the right purchase. The G (imo) is the most well rounded, best bargain sport luxury coupe/sedan on the market.

I'm surprised people didn't mention the TL yet though.

zeroto60times.com isn't a reliable source. They just scavenge the internet for data wherever it may be and post it. Not reliable. Don't you think that it's odd how they're the only site listing the G35 coupe as a 5.4 0-60 and 14.0 quarter mile runner? Their numbers are inaccurate, do not use them.

I walked on a TL last night from a dig, but got walked on by a new v6 mustang...whereas mustangs from 2004ish i walk all over.

Bottom line is, the engine/car is old. Thats why the new Gs and Zs come with 330hp from factory whereas we came with near 50 less.
