replacing clutch soon

sup guys. got almost 100k on stock clutch and obviously its going to be time to replace. ive tried searching but keep getting so many mixed reviews and it seems people dont mind their car chattering at idle. i personally would hate that..im lookin to obviously get a slight upgrade from oem but im not tracking this any time soon. would stage 1 be what im looking for here?exedy? or competition clutch perhaps?
i put 230k miles on a stock civic clutch so im not exactly too experienced in replacing clutches here ha
thanks

I wouldn't be concerned about replacing your clutch until you begin to have issues like slipping. Obviously you know how to use your clutch or it wouldn't have lasted this long. When it needs replacing go with a OE clutch, just don't pay "Stealership" prices to replace it....Gary

Yeah I was thinking that. It makes sense to only repair when youre feeling slipping. And stage wise put me at a 1or 2. No FI here or serious mods.

I just hit 100k on my stock clutch. Previous owner replaced the clutch at 20k according to the dealer. No signs of slipping yet although I burnt the **** out of it on a steep slushy incline last week. I started sliding down the ramp to my parking garage which had its door closed at the time, and had to get back up far enough to wave my card and open the gate - scary as hell; there was no flat surface between me and the door - if it weren't for quick thinking i would have slid right into it. I had to let off the clutch slowly otherwise I would spin wheel and slide further down. I was only going about 3 mph down the ramp when I started to slide. Damn near had a heart attack and breathed a major sigh of relief when I was able to get far enough up to wave my datacard and see the gate start to lift.

Anywho, clutch isn't slipping at all yet (knock on wood), and I do sit in DC 495 traffic a few times a week.

Yup that DC traffic on 95 is awful. I had to sit in it on my way back to jersey the day I bought my G in VA. But glad to see other drivers gettin great mileage out of their stock clutches
