Debadge it since you have nothing to do. Jk. Its all personal preference and IMO, leaving the badges there with a stock look is best.

I bought my car new, never debadged it. Best thing to is what I did, cruise through the page and see what others did that gets you going, do that. The end result is yours only, enjoy.

The G has been out for over 10 years. How are we still getting new threads about this? There are literally 100s of pics of this on Google and about 50 threads covering this topic. I usually don't b!tch abt threads like this being made but damn... come on son. What's next "should I paint my grill?" Lol. Sorry. Lol. And full debadge always looks best.

Debadged my 05 coupe this weekend... Was just as easy as advertised (I used the YouTube video "How to Debadge a Car (G35 coupe)" which was probably made by someone here.

My coupe is Serengeti Sand so I was very worried once I peeled the letters off and there was lots of adhesive still there, but once I hit the adhesive with a blow dryer one more time it peeled off with a little bit of work. There was still a bit left so I used wd40 and followed up with a quick wash. Easy

I have a bit of ghosting left after debadging. Anyone know how to fix this?

The sun should take care of the ghosting. Give it some time

Before de badging or after. It's still a G. All personal preference.

And I remember at one point in time when people made comments about my first set of rims. They were 20s and status. Sold them quick and bought my favorite rims. 19s Volk sf winnings.

The Mt. Fjui was the last emblem I took off my trunk lid, I had a major ghost. Tried everything I had with my buffer and it was still visible. Went to the local car wash where they do detailing and he hit it with a "high speed" buffer and cleaner, ghost gone. Didn't ask the price just gave the guy a $20. Went home and applied a few coats of Zymol Concourse wax, better than new!

I personally like the stock looks better. It just seems that so many people debadge now and its not as original as it used to be. I think its a rather slick looking emblem myself. But in the end you do what makes you happy.
