My LED's are cheap! help

Hey guys, I bought my car with all the lighting work done to it. It has the 07 projectors, and looks like ebay corners (black ones) and all the lighting swapped to whiteish/blue lights. I want to change all the lights out, because on one of my firends m5s it changed the look completely.

Why? My clear corner led's flicker, my dome lights doesnt let mee see ANYTHING.

What do i need? where should i buy the LED's from, i'm new to lighting and led all together, are all the swaps easy?

I want to change the dome lights, lights above my license plate, clear corner lights, and led in the turn signals in my tails. what LEDS do i need, and from where? I want really bright stuff!

i got my leds from VLEDS.com .. i got 6k and there really bright, just buy the high powered ones.. think its around $60-$80 for everything. installation is really easy, be careful with the license plate bulb lens, I broke mine and had to get a new one at Infiniti for $40

You can get some really good leds from ebay. They are cheap but they work great and they are bright.
You can get 10 bulbs for about $10 if you do some searching. Your going to need 194 wedge bulbs for the license plate, clear corners. for the dome I think you need the 31mm (DE3175) festoon bulb. I'm not 100% sure on the dome bulb but there is a section in the owners manual that gives you all the bulb sizes. I would also suggest getting smd's instead of led bulbs. I've had led's and after a few months they start to flicker. And just a tip for the clear corners bulb installation: I would suggest that you pull the fender liner back and install the bulb that way instead of pulling the clear corner out.

I have used this site for LEDs before... http://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/l...icle/----/---/

They have a huge selection, various colors and brightness. They also have a chart so you can see what type of bulbs you need for where. It also tells you what bulbs will fit if you cannot find the exact bulb you have. I guess there are some instances where the bulb number type isn't made but there is a comparable replacement with the same connection and voltage. Never heard of any problems with these

vleds and superbrightleds are mediocre but will last a long time. Ebay bulbs are ALL the same chinese crap that people don't seem to understand, which is why some guy in china is charging $2 for a bulb on one of his ebay accounts and $10 for the same bulb on his other account. Price means nothing on ebay.

If you don't want to make your own, use a real website like vled or superbright. they flicker because they're knockoff LEDs that have no heat transfer so they get hotter = increase current = even hotter = positive feedback cycle until they go into thermal runaway which kills the diode. Hence the flickering.

Also those chinese manufacturers don't use bin numbers on their components.. so some of those LEDs might be rated at a 2.5Vf and some even at 1.9 or w/e.. so they assume best case scenario which is why SOME of those cheap diodes last a while and some are gone in a few days. No quality control.

TL;DR don't buy from ebay unless you want to change them in 2 weeks.

I bought my LEDs from Henry at Statik on this forum. I've had them a year and love them just the same as the day they went in. Hit him up.

I endorse Henry as well. Not only does he sell a quality product but his customer service is excellent. Got a bad bulb, he'll replace it no questions asked.
