1st Gen Wing vs. Strafespeed Trunk
There hasn't been an aftermarket trunklid made that fits like OE. Even when the space around the edges is perfect, it doesn't sit flat. Only solution is to visit the boneyard buy a trunklid (without spoiler) and have a duck bill made. Fiberglass is $1100, can't imagine what one done in metal would cost?

Do you know what a ballpark cost would be?.......CF trunks are soo sexy that I feel like pulling the trigger on one and just dealing with adjustments..Might cost around the same as Molding in spoiler, repainting trunk,etc...
You could buy one of IONIC's rear spoilers and have it molded into your OE trunk. Ya gotta find a bodyshop that's got the talent to do the job right and inquire about cost....Gary

I'm surprised you're still hanging around as well
Bingo!! Thats the best route for OP in terms of the fitment he is desiring. Op do this!

What was that about...Lol
I still mod my car and I'm a consumer lol some people on the forum here just simply can't let go of the past * not you*

Ams/k2 is the same as far as I know. It fits fine out the box w. Proper adjustment of course. However, those who desire OEM fit I'd recommend molding an aftermarket spoliler onto an oem trunk.
Pm me if you want - I dont mind giving my 100% honest opinions on parts.
