2005 G35 Gas Mileage

Guess What? I got 443 Miles on a full tank! Thats amazing!
They way i got this I tried the additech thing from walmart. I didnt believe in it but i was like let me give it a shot and see what it does.

I still dont believe spending $6.99 on just that additech stuff.
But its good if you want to go on long trips.
Usually get 350 miles on a full tank

I believe it (not the product, but the gas mileage). I was getting 26.7mpg driving on the interstate for a few hours and I was speeding every now and then. Could have got 27 going a steady 60-65.

I drive a 2005 coupe as well.

I took my G on my last trip to Vegas and I believe I was on pace to approach 500 so I definitely believe this.

I think people forget the G35 is still pretty aero dynamic even by todays standards.

If I reset my MPG on the nav on the highway I regularly get ~28 mpg, as high as 32 mpg. I attribute this to some of my mods, as it wasn't that high before(~23-24). I believe the MREV2 on my rev-up engine allowed the engine to breath better and increased my gas mileage.

That is true.. I only got this kind of miles because of the aftermarket exhaust i have. I forgot to mention I have a TopSpeed Straight Cat-Back Exhaust(Newer Designs).. I guess it helped a little.

Do ya recommend cold air intake for helping with mileage and performance? or the factory one is good enough?

Damn that big of a difference from OP's mpg to some of ours is insane! Hopefully someone found out a solution for some g35's tank or knows something we dont know because I would kill for that many more miles to my tank! Chime in guys!

I was getting 22-25 when I got my 03 with 103 k. I cleaned the K&N CAI and ran some Seafoam through the brake booster line and now im getting 27 consistently. Seafoam works wonders

depends if you have a auto or manuals. The manuals tend to average higher mpg. I average around 22-24mpg combined. I've gotten 29mpg all highway.
