Wasn't even a race.

Hey guys I smoked a WRX STi. Did this guy really think this would be a race? Raced him from a stand still and a 20 mph punch. The turbo he had hung in second gear but after that is was like see ya!

Oh, well I guess that's why when we where at 85 he was stuck on my rear quarter. Humm? He caught up to the quarter at around 85 then we both let off. It really comes down to a matter of driving. My boss raced me in his C6 Vette and I took him through 2nd. He was too busy spinning tires in 1st and second to do anything. He ate my *** once he got traction and hit third. Point is if you have a honed reaction time and know how to work a clutch, and know how to launch a car you can really put the hurting on people. It's not all about HP and spool. My 69SS has eaten a lot of cars it should not have on the strip because of reaction time.
just my 2 cents.

If you say so......It could happen.
I was just joking with ya.
But you did say one thing that is correct.....
If you are at the strip, and the little light tree turns green......
Then...you KNOW you are RACING!

STis are YUM

I love seeing them on the road... however I never confront them because it's just a whole other category to me

If he would've dropped the clutch from a standstill as if he really meant to race
you, you would've been toast.

Anyway, drive safe.

OK DUDE.......your "special" G is faster than an STI??????

It will literally run circles around you if I were in the drivers seat!

A little while ago, didn't someone who owns both or has a friend with an STi, say that the STi is geared really short, because his stock G 6MT caught up to and walked the STi after 110mph, and ran away from it after 120mph?

A race like that should have been over way beofre than. IMO those are idiots becuase there is no way you can do that much speed on a track before a race is over.

The only consolation for me when I see a STi is the fact that my car is a subtle and luxurious "Infiniti."
