Will a '07-'08 KEY FOB work on an '05?

Can the dealer program a '07-08 key fob to work on an '05?

Does anyone have an answer to this?

I want to purchase this -->

Looks much better than the '05 one. . .

Probably not. It's for the Intelligent key system which the 05's never came with.

theres a thread on here that shows a diy on how to do it.. it requires soldering and circuit board tracing if you really wanna get fancy.

Damn. . . I would need someone to do that for me. . . I hate ruining my spare key FOB. . .

I used the DIY for my 04' coupe. Best mod I've ever done, really updates the look next to the oem key fob. Only thing is it was a pita to solder, I gave up and used a regular solid wire instead of a stranded.
