Cup holder button stuck
Hi I have a 2004 coupe and noticed that my cup holder button is stuck. When I try to push down on the button, it feels like there is something under the button and it won't click down at all. My cup holder cover is now stuck in the closed position and I can't open it.
I wanted to remove my center console to get into the cup holder to see what was causing the jam so I followed this video starting at about 1:45 http://infinitihelp.com/diy/gsedan/p..._procedure.php. However there are a few electrical wires attached to the heated-seats buttons and I'm not sure if they can be removed safely without damaging anything.
Does anyone know how this can be fixed? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not necessary for those plugs, pretty low voltage running there and with the plug connectors you don't risk crossing positive and negative wires. Just gently squeeze and pry the connector off with a flat head screw driver

Alright I just used a screwdriver and gently pried open the lid. Unfortunately the button is still stuck and can't be pushed down. I'm guessing the spring underneath is jammed but I'll just leave it for now. As long as I can finally use the cup holders, its all good. Thanks for all the help guys!
