Can a bad battery lead to a poor startup?

I just purchased a 2007 g35 coupe. Guess I got it with a bad battery too. Had to get it jump started from a friend a few days back.

I'm still using the same battery since I don't get a paycheck for another week.

But I've been noticing that every time I start the car now, I don't hear that angry growl from the exhaust as loud anymore.

Because of the battery supposedly?

Thanks!

Take it your your local autozone or parts house. Most of them now can check the battery in the car. And most of them install the new battery for free also.

If you're living paycheck to paycheck with the G you bought the wrong car. Gas, insurance, and repairs are all expensive and if you don't have enough money to even buy a battery before your next check you've gotten yourself in over your head here.

To answer your question, a bad battery can cause a multitude of issues with our cars.

Yes. Plus other dashlights may start to come on.

chyea bra. get it checked out. any auto parts store (oreilys, autozone, advanced, pepboys, etc) will test it for free. along with the alternator. maybe your battery is bad, maybe your alternator isnt putting a strong enough charge on it, maybe theyre both shitting the bed, or maybe you have some sort draw on the electrical system. Hard to tell with out getting the whole charging system tested.
