2004 G35 Coupe Headlights

I am looking for new headlights for my G35 and people are saying do you have HID. I have stock headlights in my car but their white so is that HID and will CCFL Eagle Eyes headlights work?

Thanks

Yes they're HID no don't get cheap eBay junk. If you want new headlights get OEM 06+ projector lights

03 headlights are reflector HID and the 06 headlights are Projector HID. The light output of the projectors is FAR superior to that of the 03 reflector headlights. Both are still "HID" though.

When they put the headlights on our '04 coupes we got screwed! Projectors are so far superior there's no comparison. Upgrading to projectors is the second best mod a first gen owner can do....first is Motordynes plenum spacer!

Yea what these guys said ^ If your gonna spend money on aftermarket headlights, you might as well buy the 06 projectors. I did it and have no regrets!

The 06+ headlights just look better in general as well. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a a deal on a pair. The reflectors are just pathetic...

Sorry to bump an old thread but I've been looking for a nice set of the OEM projectors but it looks like they've been discontinued and I can't find a new set for under a grand+ and a used set for under 700. Anyone know of a better solution?

Are they plug and play? How much adjustment is required after install?

Yes plug and play. If they adjusted properly before none. Otherwise you can adjust the beam height from the rear of the lights.

In Cali you can pick them up 4 $400 plus your old good condition 03 lights. I'd wait for someone local who is going back to stock and wants to make a few $$$ off of their up grades. Problem is most know the value and are charging supply and demand prices.

I just saw a new OEM pair on CL for $750. Too much for now. I'd rather do a spacer or exhaust first. Speed before bling.

That's a great price for a new set. It's too bad prices went up. When I got mine I paid $300 and sold mine for $200. Too bad you're not in Cali cuz you could trade yours plus $350-$400 cash. It's not just a bling mod. The projectors are a huge difference for what headlights are intended to do, light the road well. My new G had the 03 lights and I used them for about 3 weeks before I dropped my projectors back in and there really is a huge difference. But yes, they do look better too (especially no ugly amber blinker lens.

I don't drive at night that much so it's not that big of deal for me, but I would install them if I had them. Not to steal this thread, but I would like to get different bulbs for the other lights under the ones that are HID, they're really yellow and don't match. Any bulb numbers that I can change them to that will make them match?

I would go with OEM 06 headlights. Projector HIDs are so much better, once you realize the difference you will be amazed.
