G35 Coupe Questions - Possible Buyer
G35 Coupe Questions - Possible Buyer
Hey guys. I'm pretty much a n00b to this site but here goes
I currently drive a Hyundai Tiburon GT 2003. I love the car however its time to upgrade. Im a car enthoueist and post regularly at newtiburon.com.
I'm in process of researching new cars to get and got a few questions for the experts ... you guys
What do you like/dislike about the 05 coupe? Any recommendations about options, etc?
Ive already test driven one and like it alot, but as any car enthouist knows its important to hear opinions from people who have more experience.
Post away!
Thanks

you can pretty much read any thread in this forum and tell that people love their coupes. For the price range, it cannot be beaten.
on another note....WOW, you havent really had your car long have you??
Tell me about the tiburon. I thought it was a pretty sharp looking car, but I just could not bring myself to buy a Hyundai. (no offense)
Is it mod friendly?
do mods add considerable gains?
I hear the 4 cylinder is more mod friendly due to the material of the block.
Just curious...
Im going from an RSX-S (slightly modded) to the G..(mine is on order) I love the G. I will be pleased for years to come.

lol
u bought a hyundia?
no offense im a fellow newbie i know what ur going through, but do everyone a favor and go down the same route i did; read alot of the posts, read the TSB section. theres a lot of info there that im finding useful even before i post a question
any way i hope u enjoy the car, and even though it doesnt seem it, the G35 is not like any car. i found that out when, on the same day, i test drove a 330ci and the coupe, WOW.
also look at some of the dealer rating and go through the internet managers that are listed in the regional forums. some interesting stuff there too, (who knew them people at LYNNES are smucks)
any way enjoy this is the best forum to help u consider what car to buy (im learning that and too shorten my posts)

Yeah, you're partly right about the 4 cyl. Its much easier to add turbo or sc's. the 6 cyl is pretty complicated for those mods. As for N/A mods, CAI's add 15WHP easy.
