need clutch/fly wheel recommendations

Hi ,
finally the OEM flywheel is worn out, it rattles a lot recently and become a lot more noisy. so I started to look for new set of clutch and flywheel,I went through a lot of threads here and see a lot of people choose JWT combo or ACT combo, so I'm wondering from driving experience perspective, what is the differences between them, do they feel differently while driving compared to each other and compared to OEM? like , softer/stiffer , higher/lower? chatter noise level? etc?

Thanks

Charles if you don't track your coupe stick with a OE clutch, used correctly they'll last forever! What you may be hearing is the throw out bearing, they get dry and make one hell of a noise....Gary

Thanks Gary , I may want to track the car in near future, so I started to think about heavy duty clutch and some other stuff, wanted to get into some motorsports.track events are coming as the weather is getting better.

regarding the noise, it only happens when the clutch is engaged, it goes away once I push down the pedal , that's why I'm thinking it could be the dual mass flywheel.

After 78,000 on mine, I put the Jim Wolf Technology Clutch pack in mine. I love it. Check out Importpartspro.com Kyle will fix you up. I got the Pressure plate, clutch disc, Light weight flywheel, throw out bearing, SS clutch hose, pivot bearing and an alignment tool for less than $800 and it cost me $400 to have it installed. The feel is great, it's rated for 450-500 HP. The only thing is the effort is about double what it was to work it, but if my wife can do it (her car), anyone can.

There is a clutch pedal mod on here for about $150 that greatly reduces the effort and take up point also.

Here is another one of our vendors:

Even though I cost is crazy, I'd stick with the OEM flywheel. I have a lightweight one and it chatters bad. I will never go aftermarket on the clutch/flywheel again.

I will give you that one, but for me, it's not worth it to replace it now. The one thing the JWT has going for it is that it is "repairable" the OEM flywheel is not.
