U are a junior in High school? Damn, i thought i am young.

 

the time that made me feel the best was when I was at a stop light, a young gentleman and his gf took some pictures of my car...at first i was like it ain't me they looking at. You see G everywhere, but than later they gave me a thumbs up and a nice smile...That felt good "drools"

 

this is going to be probably one of the funnier ones...i was driving my car the other day and a kid walking across the street with his brother stopped right in the middle of the street, pointed at my car, and said "three hundred fifty Z!!!" His brother was telling him to stop staring and keep walking. The kid walked across the street but kept staring and pointing and said "Three hundred fifty Z!!!" I was laughing my *** of since his brother was getting annoying but the kid must love the Z/G...so i drove off as the light turned green and gave it a bit of gas...I could see the kid staring in my rearview mirror...LOL a case of mistaken identity but it was pretty funny and flattering...i guess

Just yesterday a bum walked past my car and said "nice car"...made me feel kind of bad but i was thinking he might have been trying to play with my head so i would give him a buck...o well

Numerous other people have said nice car while i'm washing my car

 

there aren't many coupes where i live - i have only seen 3 or 4 other ones - there are a lot of G35x and FX35's though. whenever i shine up my 03 red 6MT and roll through the old market district on a weekend night, it seems to turn a LOT of heads. i'm sure my habit of listening to music at unhealthy volumes catches some attention as well

 

well, i used to really love the attention i got. however, it's really bothering me now. i'm in hawaii and like my sig, the G is another "mainstream" auto here in hawaii. i aint saying that the G is bad, hell no! i love it, but when you see one every couple of minutes, it's not noticeable anymore. it doesn't stand out. i guess the euro's still get more attention from the females. there are so many here in hawaii. so many people are getting rid of it because of this! still, the G rawks!

 

ill share my stories, you fellas (and ladies) should be proud of the cars you drive. seeing many of them daily may give you the false sensation that its not as special as it truly is..

1. i brought my car here on a monday (1st and so far only on the island). after leaving the port i was at a light with one other car. There was a couple inside, the guy couldnt stop lookin at my car.. eventually he said something and then the girl started staring too....until after the light went green... it foreshadowed the next seven months (!) (this still, happens, although only about once a week on avg)
2. that friday i received a standing applause from a bunch of kids ranging 16-22 or so on a corner where a shop was. they had seen me driving home from work through there every afternoon at 5, so by friday a small group had gathered...
3. a celica driver commented that it was the best looking sports car on the island., after pulling up next to me while i was parked and staring for at least 45 seconds (this one was funny only afterwords;he had tinted glass and 45 secs is a long time, i was starting to get scared..)
4. security guards letting me in at some places, no questions asked, a couple salute.. (very surprising and at the same time equally worrysome)
5. countless reactions of very small children...they love the car .. something about the G is inspiring, maybe as people get older many lose this part of themselves?

i dont get many women doing anything much more than complimenting me. then again i dont like women that would be into me just for my car and my body language probably reflects that. the funniest story ever happened when i was in my sentra, of all cars:
i pulled up to mcdonalds and a girl took a look at me, my car, and commented (to the girl next to her, but as loud as if i were a part of her convo) that her @ss was hurting her b/c she just got a birth control shot..............good thing i left the G home that day

 

why are there so many there? i would think there would be few.

Its funny cuz even though there are lots of Gs in NYC i still get looks and compliments from complete strangers... happens a lot when i'm washing my car...

but something interesting happened last night as i was driving home. I pull up to a light to turn left and this cute girl in an FX drives up next to me. She starts smiling and pointing at my lights and waving. So i wave back and the light turns so I go. I thought for a minute that there was something wrong with my light. Then i come up to the next light and now she's next to me again and she rolls down her window. She says oh i love your lights they're so pretty. I changed my bulbs to hyperwhite so i guess she liked those. we chitchat for a a minute or so about my car and her car. She's like you have a really nice car and i compliment her on her car... and like that the light turned and she said bye and she was gone...

just another reason I love my G hehe... if you guys are wondering why i didn't ask for her number or her name, etc, i was actually on my way to my gf's house and i was caught by surprise lol...

 

I have owned my "G" 1yr and 3 months and I still have the turn and look at my own car syndrome like it's still new to me.

It is a daily driver and now has a ton of miles on it. Only problem I've ever had was the window motor going out on what seemed to be the coldest day in History!

Other than that No complaints and I still love driving this car!

 

thats exactly what i wanted to know at first. come to find out, many of the G drivers here are just out of school, and have no bills except the monthly car payment/insurance!!!!! talk about powered by mom/dad!! i'm gonna spoil the crap out of my kids!! lots of these are co-signed.

 

LOL, I've gotten plenty of attention in the 3 months or so I've had the car... I've been given free/extra food at fast food places. TONS of people have come up to me anywhere im stopped (gas station, home, parking lot etc) and just started talking. Lots of thumbs up and cheers. However, there is one time that sticks out in my head the most... It was the second day I had the car and I just got the tint done. I had my car parked out front near the main street and some dude driving a brand new Porsche Carrera just about broke his neck to get a look at my Coupe. I mean, I've never seen someone turn their head so fast! LOL I caught the attention of a Porsche owner... Priceless.

 

Everytime I see some1 with a G coupe I give them props. If I see them on the road I give them a thumbs up and wink my eye If I see some driving one I stare until I cant see them.

I am a little obsessive.
