Its only been two weeks and I absolutely LOVE the attention my car gets from young to old alike. Two stories which make me feel as if I am driving an exotic car...

1. I was at the gas station and there was old lady pumping fuel behind my car. My car was a little bit on her "turf" and so I apologized (even though she never said anything), then she replies "oh it's ok, by the way I love your car!".


2. Today as I walked to class I always pass by my car to make sure no haters from the previous day...and as I am approaching I see another student admiring the car...going up to the drivers side and looking inside as if it were a show car at the dealer or at an auto show. Then he walks back and takes a whole view of the car, then as he's walking away he is STARING with his head turned...the guy couldve ran into a wall and not known it the way he was gazing as walking away.


This type of stuff makes me PROUD to be a G owner. Anyone else have stories that make you proud to be a G owner?

 

this thread would be endless if everyone posted their stories like yours. but ill add mine anyways, haha.

1. my first time fillin up the G at the gas station, a man talked to me for about 5 minutes about how he as the G sedan and loves the coupe. he was planning on getting a coupe and said how much he liked mine.

2. driving to UCF, some guy driving next to me asked "what kind of car is that" and said "nice car".

3. at UCF, i gave a girl a ride to your car. before she got out of the car, she said " i really like your car."

 

As I was getting the mail at the condo complex I live at, a fellow resident drove up in his brand new black Acura TL and he got out and just started drooling all over my Caribbean Blue Coupe and asking me questions about it. His "buyer's remorse" was so apparent.

I get compliments on the car and color all the time from my neighbors, even when I'm just walking around the complex and the car is in the garage.

 

When I first drove my new silver G coupe through campus a good looking girl was walking on the sidewalk, stopped walking and stared at the car as I drove by. This weekend I rolled up to a light next to an A4 3.0, my friend motioned the guy to race us, he rolls down his window, starts laughing and goes are you serious, my 3.0 vs that. The G gets respect, I love it

 

Yes, I do get alot of respect in a G. It's because it's a good looking car and not european car. People can't believe Japanese make such good looking car. All they know is Civic, Accord, camry and EVO.

And for the last thing, i really thing my car is better looking than BMW 645i and Benz CLK350. Of course, it's only me. I am not saying G35 is a better car. I just think it has better lcurve body than a 60k+ car.

Hey Gee IM Fast, nice to hear you are enjoying your car as much as I am having fun with mine. I just love it! I don't have any funny stories but I certainly get a lot of looks from others including myself. I was looking back at my car as I was walking away one day, when I stumbled on a hose and almost fell flat on my face. This car is definitely a personal hazard to your health, but I think I'll keep mine though! :P

 

The first week i got my car i got lots of stares and compliments from complete strangers... Now i get maybe a stare or two every now and then.

 

Was in the mall parking lot sitting in the car talking on my cell when 3 guys and a girl walked by. They were having a good time laughing when one guy hit the other one and pointed to my car. Not sure they immediately noticed me sitting in the car but I noticed them almost stop in their tracks to check out my 05 Coupe DG. The street light was hitting the car just right and when the last guy saw me...he just nodded as if to say, Damn, nice car! It should have been a commercial... :-D

 

at a mcdonald's drive thru... picking up order, cashier girl at the window says over and over how she loves the car. tells me quick story on how she'll soon have enough money to get one for herself. i got distracted by her beauty, she got distracted by the G, ended up home missing 1 fries, toy for my nephew, and sauce for the nuggets

 

1. My friend drives a 2005 BMW 330ci (it's beautiful, by the way) and we showed up at a club at the same time to valet. We both had shined our cars up real nice that day, so they both were looking REALLY good. When the valet took our cars, he decided to park my car at the front door. Then he drives my friend's 330ci around the back in the valet parking lot. My car got to sit up front the whole time, next to some really exotic cars, while the Bimmer had to go out back. I thought that was really funny.

2. I was walking out to my car after eating at a restaurant one day as an elderly couple was coming in, passing by my car. The old man was checking out the car and gave the G a couple slaps on the rear end, on the trunk (nothing hard, just admiring) and said he thought my car was beautiful. I thought it was hilarious becuase this guy was soooooo old (he was walking with a cane).

People love this car, young and old!

 

Since I am a junior @ highschool, I get plenty of compliments and stares from the ladies n the fellahs
Had plenty of fun blaring my alarm when I spot a bunch of guys surrounding my G and had just as much fun smiling when the ladies walk by and tell me that I have a pretty car.. my girl doesnt mind as much since she knows she has shotgun priveledges :P

 

same situation as u ^^^^. One really hot girl i know was like, let me be the first to say ur car is so hot. i was tempted to say, well i will give u a free ride any time, but then i thought it over in my head and i didnt feel like getting slapped by her.

 

LMAO. You guys are hilarious. I especially liked the valet story and the guy that was admiring his own car and tripped over a garden house. LOL. Im still laughing, LOL.

 

One time at band camp.....
