Coolant Fluid Issues Anyone?

Is it just my car or has anybody had issues with coolant consumption?

I drive my car daily and every 2-3 weeks I check the routine maintenance. Whenever I check the coolant fluid, I am almost below the "low" line. I have no fluid leaks anywhere in the car and the car barely has 37k miles.

Anybody had this issue with their g35 coupes before? Ive searched but couldnt find anything regarding this issue. Maybe its a normal thing for our cars? Maybe not?

Any smoke from the exhaust? If your absolutely sure there are no leaks, than you may have a bad head gasket.

Take off the oil cap. If there is a milky type flim inside the cap, then theres coolant in there.

What year is your G?

Best bet is a pressure test to check for leaks. If no leaks are found then testing your coolant for exhaust gases to rule out a HG.

Good news is you don't have coolant in your oil! (blown head gasket) Check your tailpipe for excessive moisture after it's been driven for a while, s/b dry. Moisture indicates head gasket issues. If you don't find anything have your system pressurized for leaks. I can smell coolant if I have a leak long before it shows up in my recovery, you should too.

Where in CA do you live? If you live in the valley, with the hotter temps they have been getting, you actually will lose some due to evaporation out of the reservoir.

I dont think it could be a serious issue... (Hopefully). This car is still in good condition and I do the routine maintenance as it should be. And yeah, I can tell whenever I smell coolant because that happened with my old car and it has an obvious smell lol. Thanks!

I live in SD. I was thinking maybe it could be that issue, but its still not that hot around here in SD. But still that didnt happen with my previous car (2004 Acura TL).
