In no case did the dealership collect the sales state owed the other state. Similarly, if you buy a car privatre sale no sales tax is collect by the individual selling the car - the tax is collected at the time that you register and title the car.

Again, no hassle intended.

I paid the FL 6% tax when I bought the car from the dealer in MD. I could have waited and paid the tax when I got back home to FL if I wanted to. The MD dealer did all the title paperwork and sent me the FL license plate.

Congrats. The Bose amp on the Coupe is in the left rear of the trunk, under the trunk moldings. But, just curious, what are you planning to do with it? Replace it? Realize that the Bose speakers that are part of the system are a different resistance than aftermarket speakers, so if you replace the amp, you'll probably want to replace the speakers too.

I was actually just hoping to adjust the bass a bit...the sound quality is fine, but there's...well, nothing *underneath* it.

I'm not a *huge* sound guy, but I remember tuning my civic's sound from the amp, while zero'ing out all of the head unit settings (bass, treble, etc)...I just don't feel right riding around with my bass set at +4 and my treble set at +1 or whatever.

Anyone know if this is possible? Alternately, *is* it relatively easy to replace the amp and speakers in the Coupe? (not sure if they make it difficult for aftermarket stuff or now). Thx!
