Good deal on '04?

Twilight blue 6MT with EVERYTHING except satellite radio. MSRP $38,360. About 100 miles from test drives, etc. They want $35,000, which they said is right about invoice. Should I be able to do better?

if its what you want, and you "feel" you are getting a good deal then Go For it !!!
I played the "numbers" game for 2 weeks trying to get the dealer to throw in a spoiler.. I was already 3,100 below sticker... when I finally decided that I was ready to purchase my Black on Black coupe... I went to the dealer.. and somebody had paid
full sticker price.. when I asked the dealer about "our deal" he said they were not going to wait for me!!! although I had not put any money down I had still worked them down in the numbers. Anyway, long story longer !!! I drove a pearl White 5At
out the show room that night!! go with your "gut" feelings... If its what you want..
Get it before some one else does!!!

35k seems pretty good to me. especially if it has a black interior; blue ext/black int G35 coupes are very rare, ESPECIALLY 6MT. i challenge you to find another one.

35k is ok, but since the dealers are most likely trying to get rid of their remaining 2004s, i'm sure you can get a better deal than that... I was offered $500 under invoice back in october for a 2004 with the same specs you have. Its up to you though, i mean you could probably haggle an extra $500-$1000 off maybe but if you're happy with that price then get it.

I was wrong on the mileage. That was for another '04 they had. This one has 759 miles! It supposedly was driven from another dealership to them and had about 500 when they took posession. That distance was only about 200 miles, so it had 300 at the original dealer, and over 200 at the present dealer. He stated it was NOT a demo. How the heck does it get that many miles, then? Do the dealers drive the cars home, show them off to friends, etc? I told him I was not even interested unless he would give 4K off sticker, and possibly more. He said that was not realistic, but would call me tomorrow. He also said they might can extend the warranty for free. I told him I'd prefer it off the bottom line, as the warranty is already good on these cars and if something has seriously been damaged, it will likely crop up in the next four years. I love the car and color combo and rarity, and like that I can in a sense use the miles as bargaining power, but would you be worried about the miles? Thoughts?

buy the car, that's a great price. 759 miles isn't even broken in yet.

I am trying to get a deal on a Diamond graphite 6mt 04 with brembo's right now. Dealer swears they are going to make me a killer deal for it. I am putting down $$ to hold the car tomorrow.

believe me that car is already broken in.....to HELL! I wouldn't buy it..

Where do you live, if you live on the east coast you can get an '05 for about a grand more with 6 miles, and you do the breaking in.

Well I bit the bullet and put a deposit on the car for them to hold it for me. Completely refundable, of course. Final price will be $34,760 + tax and fees, for an OTD of $36,XXX. Plus I will get the 2.9 financing they offer on '04's, which will save me a couple grand in interest over the life of the loan. I will hopefully get it Saturday! I've loved the coupe ever since I first laid eyes on it, and now, my dream car is close to reality! And I'm getting a rare color combo and Brembo's!!!!!!

rare combo yes. good deal u decide. those first miles are the roughest, and I'll put money on it that the people who drove it those miles were not kind to it. the normal break in is what 1k miles? so ur already approaching it and u did not do the driving. But hey its a nissan, and i have had 3 that lasted to about 200 thousand bfore i sold it. force them to come down in price more.
